Dina Galli was the daughter of the actress Ernestina Nesti. As a child, she debuted on the stage in Milan. In 1900 she was engaged as the leading actress at the Talli-Gramatica-Calabresi. She worked for several acting companies before she made her film debut in 1914 in a silent movie directed by Nino Oxilia.

During the First Worl War she served as a volunteer in hospitals, where she entertained wounded soldiers as a puppeteer. In 1935 she was very successful in Giuseppe Adami's comedy "Felicita Colombo" and in 1937 she played in Mario Mattoli's movie of the same name. She died in Rome in 1951.
