Sabine Impekoven was the younger sister of the author and comedian
Toni Impekoven (1881-1947). She debuted in 1907 at the Wilhelm-Städtischen
Schauspielhaus in Berlin and worked there until 1912. In 1912
she made her first appearance in a silent movie. She married
the actor Leo Peukert in 1914. After a serious car accident she ended her acting career and only appeared in public together with her husband. Her husband died in 1944.
