Adolf Brunnlechner studied archaeology and art in Graz and painting of watercolours with Heinrich Bank in Graz and with Augusto Ballerini Triest. From 1886 to 1890 he worked as a teacher in Constantinopel and he worked for twenty years for a school in Trieste. In later years he lived in Graz where he concentrated on his painting but also worked as a teacher. He was best known for his landscapes and for his articles on art history. |
