Jószef Timár played numerous parts on the Hungarian stages and appeared in many Hungarian movies between 1936 and 1959. In 1957 he was awarded the Kossuth Prize. He was very successful in "Death of a Salesman" and on his grave is a monument with the shape of a briefcase that refers to this part. In the park of the National Theatre there's a statue of him as travelling salesman. |
