Opened for burials: 1738 The Cimitero Acattolico (or Protestant Cemetery) lies next to the Pyramid of Cestius that was built in 30 BC. As far as known the first person was buried here in 1738. The cemetery is well known for being the final resting place of the poets Keats and Shelley. |
