Opened for burials: 1924 After closing the La Sallaz and the La Pontaise cemeteries in Lausanne is was decided to create a new cemetery outside the city. A competition was held in 1919 and the cemetery was planned and constructed by Alphonse Laverrière (1872-1954) between 1922 and 1951. |
